Description¶

The Model Search allows for the retrieval of information from the VINMASTER Motorcycle database by Make, Model Name, Trim Name and Model Year. Information for all VINs matching the selection criteria is returned along with corresponding rating codes and factors.

Headers (XML)
- Content-Type: application/xml
- Accept: application/xml
- Authorization: Bearer <access token retrieved from Security Token Service>
  - Token received from Security Service should be used as Bearer

- Content-Type: application/json
- Accept: application/json
- Authorization: Bearer <access token retrieved from Security Token Service>
  - Token received from Security Service should be used as Bearer

Form Data
- Required Parameters
  - OrgId - Request.Header.Authorization.OrgId
  - ShipId - Request.Header.Authorization.ShipId
  - Year - 4 digit model year
  - Make - Motorcycle make name
  - Model - Motorcycle model name
- Optional Parameters
  - Trim - Motorcycle trim name

You can specify that you would like to receive your response as XML simply by setting a Header of "Accept" to "application/xml"
